Supporting Inspirational Collaborations Between Art & Tech
The Tech + Arts Initiative aims to broaden the public view on emerging technologies and pave the way for new creative collisions at the intersection of the applied sciences and artistic creativity.
Through its exhibits and R&D gallery, the program sets a bridge between the global creative community and the high-tech sector of the greater Silicon Valley by pairing artists with the companies powering the world's preeminent technologies.
Participating artists collaborate with The Tech Museum’s team of educators, prototypers, designers, and engineers, and receive industry support and access to emerging technologies in development. Final projects are installed at The Tech, shared with partnering institutions, and disclosed by interviews, process evaluations, and media channels.
